What does it mean to be transgender? On the topic of non binary gender expression, LGBTQIA, and transgender affirming therapy

To begin, a transgender person has a gender identity that does not match the sex they were assigned at birth. So, their biological sex and hormones don’t match. Therefore, in early childhood is time when preschoolers express gender. Sometimes, families are not supportive.
