Wisdom Within Counseling and Coaching of Niantic, Connecticut is seeking a child and family therapist to join our team!
We are now recruiting licensed therapists to join our private practice in Niantic, Connecticut to support anxious children, parents, depressed teens, non-binary adolescents under 18, and distant couples wanting support for a better relationship. We have a large focus on children and teens using creative expressive arts, yoga, play and holistic therapies.
Our philosophy is to promote our clients to develop their wisdom within, inner balance, and mental wellness from a holistic approach. In addition, we love helping families thrive.
Job Details and Description
We are a speciality counseling practice. Wisdom Within encourages you to integrate a holistic and creative approach when working with clients. We also look for an individual with a background in art therapy, music or drama therapies, yoga, and play therapy, and wants to use creative, alternative, out-of-the-box approaches to help children, teens, young adults and couples.
Our Specialities
We specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, self-injurious behavior, trauma, parent-child relationships, anger, divorce/separation issues, and also grief counseling. We also work with children, teens and couples on issues such as panic attacks, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, anger problems, eating disorders, trauma/post traumatic stress, teenagers with self-harm, parenting worries, LGBTQIA+, gender identity, same sex relationships, and marriage/relationship issues. Also, Wisdom Within helps children and teens who have selective mutism.
